Held in July 2012, these 1-day workshops focused on how to implement successful strategies to prevent Clostridium difficile infections. Hospitals and long term care facilities were asked to try to send a multidisciplinary team with representation including, but not limited to, environmental services, infection prevention, nursing or nursing administration, laboratory, and quality improvement. Long term care facilities were also encouraged to include the medical director and a Certified Nursing Assistant. Read the August campaign update for workshop highlights.
