Cancer Awareness in Illinois
The Illinois Cancer Partnership has produced Cancer Awareness in Illinois reports in recognition of cancer awareness months. These reports are created with data produced by the Illinois State Cancer Registry and provide information on risk factors, screening guidelines, and screening rates (when applicable). Data highlights the incidence, late-stage diagnosis (when applicable), and mortality. Additional information is provided for the groups at the highest risk, with relevant social determinants of health. The Cancer Awareness in Illinois reports include suggested polices, system, environment changes, and concludes with information on clinical trials, resources, and continuing education.
